The Czech shot-stopper is expected to be on the bench for the Gunners against Swiss champions Basel with Ospina starting the Champions League group stage matches.
Cech and Ospina worked separately from the rest of the group ahead of the Group A encounter at Emirates Stadium.
Francis Coquelin missed the session after injuring his knee during the 3-0 win over Chelsea on Saturday, while Mathieu Debuchy and Carl Jenkinson were both in full training following their respective injuries.
