Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has not been included in the the Gunners squad to take on Newcastle United on Sunday at St. James’ Park.
The Germany international has a slight shoulder problem, so Jack Wilshere returns to the starting XI after serving his two-match suspension.
Laurent Koscielny also returns to action after overcoming the knee injury he picked up in the 6-3 defeat to Manchester City, with Thomas Vermaelen missing out.
For Newcastle, Cheik Tiote has been recalled to the starting line-up after missing Thursday’s 5-1 win over Stoke City through suspension, while Hatem Ben Arfa drops to the bench.
