The former Gunners midfielder replaces Oscar in Antonio Conte’s starting XI while Granit Xhaka is left on the bench by Arsene Wenger
Chelsea have named Cesc Fabregas in their starting line-up for the first time in the Premier League this season as the Blues take on Arsenal.
The former Gunners midfielder impressed against Leicester City in the EFL Cup on Tuesday, scoring twice as Antonio Conte’s side won through to the fourth round.
He replaces Oscar in the only change from Chelsea’s defeat to Liverpool last time out in the Premier League.
Arsenal, meanwhile, again leave Granit Xhaka on the bench despite scoring in two consecutive matches for the north London outfit.
Alexis Sanchez will again lead the line for Arsene Wenger’s side, with Lucas Perez on the bench.
