The Manchester United and England striker may have scored twice on his debut against Arsenal, but he singled out one of their defenders as his fiercest foe to date
Marcus Rashford has named Laurent Koscielny as the toughest opponent he has faced so far in his career.
Schweinsteiger misery not Mourinho’s fault
Rashford has been in fine form since bursting onto the scene at Manchester United last season, scoring 12 goals in all competitions for the club.
The striker has made a habit out of scoring on his debut in several competitions, finding the net on his maiden appearances for the England senior and U21 sides as well as on his Europa League and EFL Cup bows for United.
Rashford also notably scored twice on his Premier League debut against an Arsenal defence which included Koscielny in a 3-2 United win last season.
But the 18-year-old he still believes the France international remains his most difficult foe to date.

“I think, individually, it would be Laurent Koscielny at Arsenal,” Rashford told United’s official website.
“He was a difficult defender to play against.”
