Arsenal have announced the signing of 20-year-old defender Rob Holding, who joins on a long-term deal from Bolton Wanderers.
The youngster won the player of the season award with the Trotters last season as well as the Toulon Tournament with the England under-21 side this summer.
The 20-year-old has penned a long-term contract having impressed in his breakthrough season at the Macron Stadium, making 30 appearances and winning the club’s player of the season award.
The youngster has now made the step up to the Premier League, and will hope to challenge for a first-team spot under Arsene Wenger.
