‘If only he’d taken the piano off his back’ – Giroud TROLLED for his serious lack of pace

It’s another night to forget for Olivier Giroud.

The Arsenal striker had the chance to France in front against Germany after being sent clear through on goal.

But a woeful lack of pace allowed Benedikt Howedes to catch up and rescue the situation with a last-ditch tackle.

Luckily for Giroud, France were given a somewhat fortunate penalty which Antoine Griezmann converted, while the Atletico Madrid star struck again in the second half.

But the good people of Twitter didn’t let Giroud’s snail-like speed slide…

If only Giroud had taken the piano off his back prior to kickoff.

I genuinely think Olivier Giroud has won a competition to play for #FRA tonight.
