The Gunners remain keen on a deal for the 17-year-old midfielder, who has made six first-team appearances for the Polish club this season
Arsenal are closing in on a deal for Legia Warsaw midfielder Krystian Bielik, according to the player’s agent.
The Gunners have reportedly had a €2 million bid for the 17-year-old rejected, while the player was invited to the club’s training ground over the Christmas period.
“We are speaking and hopefully we will find a solution,” Bielik’s agent, Cezary Kucharski, told The Guardian on Thursday.
Bielik, who broke through into Legia’s first team at the start of the season and has made six appearances for the Polish club, admits he is keen to join Arsene Wenger’s side.
“I hope that the two clubs come together and I go to London to fulfil my dreams,” Bielik told legia.sport.pl.
“He [Wenger] knows that I have the skills, am determined to win and he wants to sign me as soon as possible to start working with me.”
