Olivier Giroud scored his fourth goal in as many Premier League games as Arsenal held off a spirited West Ham to keep their top-four charge on track at the Emirates Stadium.
The Frenchman neatly exchanged touches with Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey before superbly firing in off the far post to give the Gunners the lead on the stroke of half-time.
West Ham threatened David Ospina’s goal in each half of an open game but Ramsey sealed the win when he lashed home after a neat one-two with Giroud on 81 minutes, and Flamini added a well-worked third late on.
