The Germany international bruised his hand in training on Thursday and sported the special equipment, which allows him to strap two fingers together, against Wolfsburg
Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is set to wear a four-fingered glove during the Bundesliga leaders’ Champions League clash against Arsenal on Tuesday in order to protect a bruised hand.
Neuer wore the special glove, which allows him to strap the index and middle fingers on his right hand together, for Bayern’s 2-0 victory over Wolfsburg on Friday.
The Germany international suffered the injury in training on Thursday but will continue to play through the problem in the first leg of the last-16 tie at the Emirates Stadium.
Neuer is yet to concede a goal in 2013 and Bayern are on course to break their own record, set in 2007-08, for the fewest goals conceded in a Bundesliga campaign having allowed just seven in 22 matches so far.
